Elizabeth Stuart
Elizabeth Stuart (1596-1662) was the daughter of King James I of England and Anne of Denmark. She became the Queen of Bohemia when she married Frederick V, Elector Palatine in 1613. Known as the "Winter Queen," her reign was short-lived, lasting only one year due to the Thirty Years' War.
After her husband's defeat at the Battle of White Mountain in 1620, Elizabeth lived in exile for most of her life. She became a symbol of the Stuart family's resilience and maintained connections with various European courts. Elizabeth's legacy includes her role in the political and cultural life of her time.
