Elizabeth Beauchamp, Duchess of Suffolk
Elizabeth Beauchamp, Duchess of Suffolk, was born in 1480 and became a prominent figure in the English court during the late 15th and early 16th centuries. She was the daughter of Richard Beauchamp, 13th Earl of Warwick and Isabel le Despenser. Elizabeth married John de la Pole, 2nd Duke of Suffolk, which connected her to the powerful Yorkist family.
As a duchess, Elizabeth played a significant role in the political landscape of her time, particularly during the tumultuous period following the Wars of the Roses. She was the mother of several children, including Margaret Pole, who later became a notable figure in her own right. Elizabeth's lineage and connections made her an influential member of the English nobility.
