Eliud Kipchoge
Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner, widely regarded as one of the greatest marathon runners in history. Born on November 5, 1984, he has set multiple world records and won numerous prestigious races, including the Olympic Games and the Berlin Marathon. His remarkable achievements have made him a prominent figure in the world of athletics.
In 2019, Kipchoge made headlines by becoming the first person to complete a marathon in under two hours, finishing in 1:59:40 during the INEOS 1:59 Challenge. This event, however, was not an official race, as it was specially organized with pacers and other conditions to help him achieve this milestone.
