Eastern Han
The Eastern Han was a Chinese dynasty that lasted from 25 to 220 AD, following the Western Han period. It was established by the general Liu Xiu, who became Emperor Guangwu. This era is known for its political stability, economic growth, and cultural achievements, including advancements in literature and technology.
During the Eastern Han, the capital was moved to Luoyang, which became a center of trade and culture. The dynasty faced challenges, such as corruption and power struggles, leading to its decline. Ultimately, the Eastern Han ended with the rise of warlords and the beginning of the Three Kingdoms period.
