Liu Xiu
Liu Xiu, also known as Emperor Guangwu, was the founder of the Eastern Han Dynasty in China. He was born in 5 BCE and initially served as a military leader during the chaotic period following the fall of the Western Han Dynasty. Liu Xiu successfully defeated rival factions and established his rule in 25 CE, marking the beginning of a new era.
As emperor, Liu Xiu focused on restoring stability and prosperity to the empire. He implemented various reforms, including land redistribution and tax relief, which helped to strengthen the economy. His reign lasted until 57 CE, and he is remembered for his efforts to unify and revitalize China.
