Dumbbell Flyes
Dumbbell Flyes are a strength training exercise primarily targeting the chest muscles, specifically the pectoralis major. To perform this exercise, lie on a flat bench while holding a dumbbell in each hand. With your arms extended above your chest, slowly lower the dumbbells out to the sides in a wide arc, keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
Once you feel a stretch in your chest, reverse the motion by bringing the dumbbells back together above your chest. This movement helps to enhance muscle definition and improve overall upper body strength when incorporated into a balanced workout routine.
