Dulce of Aragon
Dulce of Aragon was a medieval noblewoman born around 1170, known for her marriage to King Alfonso II of Aragon. She played a significant role in the political landscape of her time, as her union helped strengthen alliances between the Kingdom of Aragon and other regions.
Dulce was the daughter of Count Ramon Berenguer IV of Barcelona and Petronila of Aragon. Her lineage connected her to influential families, enhancing her status. Although not much is documented about her life, her marriage contributed to the consolidation of power in the Crown of Aragon.
