Dromedaries
Dromedaries, also known as Arabian camels, are a species of camel characterized by a single hump on their backs. They are well-adapted to hot, arid environments, primarily found in North Africa and the Middle East. Dromedaries can thrive with minimal water and are often used as pack animals due to their strength and endurance.
These animals can weigh between 880 to 2,200 pounds and stand about 6 to 7 feet tall at the hump. Dromedaries are herbivores, primarily feeding on dry grasses and grains. They play a crucial role in the livelihoods of many desert-dwelling communities, providing transportation and resources.
