Hump
A "hump" is a rounded protuberance or raised area on a surface. It can refer to the physical feature found on certain animals, such as the camel, which has one or two humps that store fat. Humps can also appear in geography, like hills or small mountains, where the terrain rises above the surrounding area.
In a more abstract sense, "hump" can describe a challenging situation or obstacle that one must overcome. For example, people often refer to getting "over the hump" when they face difficulties in a project or task, indicating that they have passed the most challenging part and are moving toward completion.
