Dhanurveda
Dhanurveda is an ancient Indian science of archery and martial arts, part of the larger Vedic tradition. It is one of the six auxiliary disciplines, known as Vedangas, that support the study of the Vedas. Dhanurveda encompasses techniques for archery, weaponry, and physical training, emphasizing both skill and discipline.
The teachings of Dhanurveda are found in various ancient texts, including the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita. It not only focuses on the physical aspects of combat but also integrates mental and spiritual training, promoting a holistic approach to martial arts.
