Daurian Gazelle
The Daurian Gazelle, also known as the Mongolian Gazelle, is a medium-sized antelope found primarily in the grasslands and steppes of Mongolia and China. It is characterized by its slender body, long legs, and distinctive curved horns in males. These gazelles are well-adapted to their environment, capable of running at high speeds to escape predators.
Daurian Gazelles are social animals, often seen in herds that can number in the hundreds. They primarily feed on grasses and herbs, playing a vital role in their ecosystem by helping to maintain the balance of vegetation. Their population is currently stable, but they face threats from habitat loss and hunting.
