Dadabhai Naoroji
Dadabhai Naoroji was an influential Indian political leader, educator, and social reformer born in 1825. He is best known for being one of the first Indians to advocate for self-rule and economic reforms during British colonial rule. Naoroji was a founding member of the Indian National Congress and played a crucial role in raising awareness about the economic exploitation of India by the British.
Naoroji also served as a member of the British Parliament, making him the first Indian to hold such a position. He authored several works, including "Poverty and Un-British Rule in India," which highlighted the adverse effects of British policies on India's economy. His efforts laid the groundwork for future leaders in the Indian independence movement.
