Cross-Country Skis
Cross-country skis are long, narrow skis designed for traveling across snow-covered terrain. Unlike downhill skis, they are lighter and have a free heel, allowing for a gliding motion that mimics walking or running. This design makes them ideal for both recreational and competitive skiing.
These skis are typically used on groomed trails or in backcountry areas. Bindings attach the skier's boots to the skis, providing stability and control. Poles are also used to help propel the skier forward and maintain balance. Cross-country skiing is a popular winter sport that offers a great cardiovascular workout.
