Count John VI of Nassau-Dillenburg
Count John VI of Nassau-Dillenburg was a nobleman from the House of Nassau, born in 1536. He was the son of Count William of Nassau-Dillenburg and served as a prominent figure in the {Dutch Revolt} against Spanish rule. His leadership contributed to the establishment of the {Dutch Republic}.
John VI was known for his efforts in promoting Protestantism in the region. He played a significant role in the {Union of Utrecht}, which united various provinces in the fight for independence. He passed away in 1606, leaving a legacy of political and religious influence in the {Netherlands}.
