Cocos Nucifera (Coconut)
Cocos Nucifera, commonly known as the coconut, is a tropical tree belonging to the palm family. It is native to coastal regions of the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean. The coconut tree can grow up to 30 meters tall and produces large, round fruits that contain a hard shell and a fibrous husk. Inside the fruit, there is a clear liquid known as coconut water and white edible flesh.
Coconuts are highly versatile and are used in various culinary and non-culinary applications. The flesh can be eaten fresh or dried, while the oil extracted from the fruit is popular in cooking and cosmetics. Additionally, the husk and leaves of the coconut tree are often used in traditional crafts and building materials.
