Despite being considered physically weak and having a speech impediment, he proved to be an effective leader. Claudius expanded the Roman Empire, notably by conquering Britain in 43 AD.
During his reign, Claudius implemented various reforms, including improvements in the legal system and infrastructure. He is also known for his interest in history and literature, authoring several works. His rule ended when he died on October 13, 54 AD, possibly due to poisoning.
