Tiberius was the second Roman Emperor, ruling from 14 AD to 37 AD. He was born on November 16, 42 BC, and was the stepson of the first emperor, Augustus. Tiberius was known for his military successes and administrative reforms, which helped stabilize the Roman Empire during his reign.
Despite his achievements, Tiberius's rule became increasingly unpopular due to his reclusive nature and harsh policies. He spent much of his later years on the island of Capri, where he was rumored to engage in debauchery. Tiberius died on March 16, 37 AD, and was succeeded by Caligula.
