Claudians
The Claudians were a Roman imperial dynasty that ruled from 14 AD to 68 AD. This family began with Emperor Tiberius, the stepson of Augustus, and included notable emperors like Claudius and Nero. The dynasty is known for its significant expansion of the Roman Empire and various political intrigues.
During the Claudian era, the Roman Empire saw advancements in infrastructure, including roads and aqueducts. However, the period was also marked by political instability, including assassinations and power struggles. The dynasty ended with the suicide of Nero, leading to a brief period of civil war known as the Year of the Four Emperors.
