Emperor Tiberius
Emperor Tiberius was the second Roman emperor, ruling from 14 AD to 37 AD. He was born on November 16, 42 BC, and was the stepson of Augustus, the first emperor of Rome. Tiberius was known for his military successes and for consolidating the empire's borders during his reign.
Despite his initial popularity, Tiberius became increasingly reclusive and paranoid later in his rule. He spent much of his time on the island of Capri, where he was rumored to engage in debauchery. His reign is often characterized by political intrigue and the use of treason trials against perceived enemies.
