Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was a prominent Nigerian military officer and politician, born on November 4, 1933. He is best known for leading the Biafran secessionist movement during the Nigerian Civil War from 1967 to 1970. Ojukwu was educated at prestigious institutions, including Eton College and Oxford University, which shaped his leadership skills.
After the war, Ojukwu went into exile and returned to Nigeria in 1982. He later entered politics, becoming a key figure in the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Ojukwu passed away on November 26, 2011, leaving a complex legacy in Nigerian history.
