Christian VI
Christian VI was the King of Denmark and Norway from 1730 until his death in 1746. He was born on November 30, 1699, and was the son of Frederick IV of Denmark. His reign is noted for its focus on economic development and the promotion of agriculture, as well as the establishment of several educational institutions.
During his rule, Christian VI also emphasized the importance of religion, being a devout Lutheran. He commissioned the construction of several churches and promoted the arts, leading to a cultural flourishing in Denmark. His reign ended with his death on April 6, 1746, after which he was succeeded by his son, Frederick V.
