Christian VII
Christian VII was the King of Denmark and Norway from 1766 until his death in 1808. He was born on January 29, 1749, and became king at a young age, which led to a regency due to his mental health issues. His reign was marked by significant political and social changes, including the influence of the Enlightenment.
During his rule, Christian VII was often overshadowed by his advisors, particularly Johann Friedrich Struensee, who implemented various reforms. These reforms aimed to modernize the state and improve the lives of the citizens. Despite his challenges, Christian VII's reign contributed to the evolution of the Danish monarchy.
