Frederick IV of Denmark
Frederick IV of Denmark was a king who ruled from 1699 to 1730. He was born on October 11, 1671, and was the son of Frederick III of Denmark. His reign is noted for efforts to modernize the Danish military and improve the economy, as well as for his involvement in various wars, including the Great Northern War.
Frederick IV was also known for his interest in the arts and culture, promoting the development of Danish architecture and literature. He established the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1754, which contributed to the cultural landscape of Denmark. His reign ended with his death on May 12, 1730.
