Charles VIII of France
Charles VIII of France was a king who reigned from 1483 to 1498. He became king at a young age after the death of his father, Louis XI. His reign is noted for the beginning of the Italian Wars, as he sought to expand French territory into Italy.
During his rule, Charles VIII was known for his efforts to modernize the French army and improve the administration of the kingdom. He was also a patron of the arts, which contributed to the cultural development of France. His reign ended abruptly when he died in an accident, leading to the ascension of his cousin, Louis XII.
