Chand Minar
Chand Minar is a historical tower located in the town of Dharashiv, also known as Osmanabad, in the state of Maharashtra, India. Built in the 14th century by the Bahmani Sultanate, it stands at a height of approximately 30 meters. The tower is known for its intricate architectural design, featuring a series of balconies and a spiral staircase that leads to the top.
The structure is made of local stone and showcases a blend of Islamic and Indian architectural styles. Chand Minar was constructed to commemorate the victory of the Bahmani Sultanate over the Yadava dynasty. Today, it serves as a popular tourist attraction, reflecting the rich history of the region.
