Central America and Caribbean
Central America and the Caribbean are regions located between North and South America. Central America consists of seven countries: Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. This area is known for its diverse ecosystems, including rainforests, mountains, and coastlines along the Caribbean Sea and the Pacific Ocean.
The Caribbean is made up of numerous islands and is known for its tropical climate, beautiful beaches, and vibrant cultures. Major countries in the Caribbean include Cuba, Jamaica, and Dominican Republic. The region is also famous for its rich history, influenced by indigenous peoples, European colonization, and African heritage.
