Camphor tree
The Camphor tree, scientifically known as *Cinnamomum camphora*, is a large evergreen tree native to East Asia. It can grow up to 100 feet tall and is known for its aromatic leaves, which contain camphor oil. This oil is extracted from the tree's wood and leaves and has various uses, including in traditional medicine and as a flavoring agent.
Camphor trees thrive in warm, humid climates and are often found in subtropical and tropical regions. They are also valued for their durable wood, which is resistant to decay. In addition to their practical uses, these trees are sometimes planted for ornamental purposes in parks and gardens.
