Brazilian Vegetation
Brazil is home to diverse vegetation types, primarily due to its vast size and varying climates. The most notable is the Amazon Rainforest, which is the largest tropical rainforest in the world, hosting an incredible variety of plant species. Other significant vegetation types include the Cerrado, a tropical savanna characterized by grasslands and scattered trees, and the Atlantic Forest, a rich ecosystem along the southeastern coast.
In addition to these, Brazil features the Caatinga, a unique dry shrubland, and the Pampas, a temperate grassland in the south. Each of these regions supports distinct flora and fauna, contributing to Brazil's status as one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet.
