Brazilian Fauna
Brazil is home to a diverse range of fauna, thanks to its varied ecosystems, including the Amazon Rainforest, Pantanal, and Atlantic Forest. The country hosts over 1,500 species of birds, 700 species of mammals, and countless reptiles and amphibians. Iconic animals include the Jaguar, Capybara, and Amazon River Dolphin.
The rich biodiversity also includes numerous unique species, such as the Golden Lion Tamarin and the Hyacinth Macaw. Many of these animals are endemic, meaning they are found nowhere else in the world. Conservation efforts are crucial to protect Brazil's wildlife from habitat loss and poaching.
