Barí
The Barí are an indigenous people primarily located in the northern region of Venezuela, particularly in the Zulia state. They speak the Barí language, which belongs to the Chibchan language family. Traditionally, the Barí have relied on hunting, fishing, and agriculture for their subsistence, cultivating crops like cassava and maize.
The Barí culture is rich in traditions and social structures, often organized into small, semi-nomadic groups. They have a deep connection to their natural environment, which plays a significant role in their spiritual beliefs and practices. The Barí also engage in trade with neighboring communities, exchanging goods and resources.
