Bangsamoro government
The Bangsamoro government is an autonomous political entity in the southern Philippines, established to provide self-governance to the Bangsamoro people. It was created through the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) in 2018, following decades of conflict and negotiations aimed at addressing the historical grievances of the Muslim population in the region.
This government structure replaced the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) and aims to promote peace, development, and cultural identity. The Bangsamoro government has its own parliament and executive authority, allowing it to create laws and manage local resources while still being part of the Philippines.
