Banda Singh Bahadur
Banda Singh Bahadur was a prominent Sikh leader and warrior born in 1670. He is best known for his role in establishing the first Sikh state in the Punjab region after the death of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. Banda Singh Bahadur led a significant rebellion against the Mughal Empire, advocating for justice and equality.
He became the first military commander of the Sikhs and is celebrated for his bravery and leadership. Banda Singh Bahadur's efforts laid the foundation for Sikh sovereignty, and he is remembered as a martyr who fought for the rights of the oppressed until his execution in 1716.
