Baba Banda Singh Bahadur
Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was a prominent Sikh warrior and leader in the early 18th century. Born as Lachman Das in 1670, he became a disciple of Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru. After the Guru's death, Banda Singh took up arms against the Mughal Empire, which was oppressing the Sikh community and other religious groups in India.
He is best known for establishing the first Sikh state in the Punjab region and for his military campaigns against the Mughals. Banda Singh Bahadur's leadership and bravery inspired many, and he is remembered as a symbol of resistance and courage in Sikh history.
