Baba Amte
Baba Amte, born as Murlidhar Devidas Amte in 1914, was a prominent Indian social activist known for his work with leprosy patients. He founded the Anandwan community in Maharashtra, which provided care, rehabilitation, and employment opportunities for those affected by leprosy. His efforts aimed to integrate these individuals into society and promote their dignity.
