Australian coat of arms
The Australian Coat of Arms is the official symbol of the Commonwealth of Australia. It features a shield that displays the emblems of the six states: New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania. The coat of arms is supported by a kangaroo and an emu, which represent Australia's unique wildlife and the nation's forward movement, as neither animal can easily move backward.
The coat of arms also includes a scroll with the word "Australia" and is used on official documents, government buildings, and various national symbols. It was officially granted in 1912 and reflects the country's identity and heritage.
