Asafi Imambara
Asafi Imambara, also known as Bada Imambara, is a historical mosque and tomb located in Lucknow, India. Built in 1784 by the Nawab of Awadh, Asaf-ud-Daula, it showcases stunning Mughal architecture and is famous for its large central hall, which is one of the largest arched constructions without support beams.
The complex also includes a stepwell, a garden, and the Shahi Baoli, which adds to its beauty. Asafi Imambara serves as a significant cultural and religious site, especially during the festival of Muharram, attracting many visitors and pilgrims each year.
