Arabian desert
The Arabian Desert is a vast desert located on the Arabian Peninsula, covering approximately 1.3 million square kilometers. It is characterized by its arid climate, with very little rainfall and extreme temperatures, often exceeding 50 degrees Celsius in summer. The desert features a variety of landscapes, including sand dunes, gravel plains, and rocky plateaus.
Home to unique flora and fauna, the Arabian Desert supports species adapted to harsh conditions, such as the Arabian oryx and various reptiles. The desert is also rich in natural resources, including oil and gas, making it an important region for the economies of countries like Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.
