Amadeo I
Amadeo I was the King of Spain from 1870 to 1873. He was born on May 31, 1845, in Savoy, Italy, and was a member of the House of Savoy. His reign was marked by political instability and challenges, as he struggled to gain support from various factions within Spain.
Despite his efforts to modernize the country, Amadeo faced significant opposition and was unable to establish a stable government. Ultimately, he abdicated the throne in February 1873, returning to Italy. His short reign is often seen as a period of transition in Spanish history.
