Allama Muhammad Baqir Majlisi
Allama Muhammad Baqir Majlisi was a prominent Shia Islamic scholar and theologian born in 1627 in Isfahan, Persia. He is best known for his extensive works on Islamic jurisprudence, theology, and history, particularly his compilation of Hadith known as "Bihar al-Anwar," which is a comprehensive collection of traditions from the Prophet Muhammad and the Imams.
Majlisi played a significant role in the development of Shia thought during the Safavid period. His teachings emphasized the importance of Islamic ethics and the role of the Imams in guiding the community. He passed away in 1699, leaving a lasting impact on Shia scholarship and religious practice.
