Ali Brothers
The Ali Brothers, consisting of Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Shaukat Ali, were prominent leaders in the Indian independence movement. They played a significant role in advocating for the rights of Muslims in India during the early 20th century. Their efforts contributed to the formation of the All-India Muslim League, which aimed to represent Muslim interests in a predominantly Hindu society.
The Ali Brothers were also known for their strong opposition to British colonial rule. They organized various movements and protests, including the Khilafat Movement, which sought to protect the Ottoman Empire's caliphate after World War I. Their activism helped raise awareness about Muslim issues and fostered a sense of unity among Muslims in India.
