All India Muslim League
The All India Muslim League was a political party in India founded in 1906. Its primary aim was to represent the interests of Muslims in the Indian subcontinent during the British colonial period. The League played a crucial role in advocating for Muslim rights and sought to ensure that Muslims had a voice in the political landscape of India.
Under the leadership of figures like Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the League gained prominence in the 1940s. It eventually called for the creation of a separate nation for Muslims, leading to the establishment of Pakistan in 1947. The League's influence significantly shaped the course of Indian history during the struggle for independence.
