Alfredo Binda
Alfredo Binda was an Italian professional road racing cyclist, born on February 11, 1902, in Cittiglio, Italy. He is best known for winning the prestigious Giro d'Italia three times, in 1925, 1927, and 1928. Binda was renowned for his exceptional climbing ability and tactical prowess during races, which contributed to his success in the sport.
In addition to his Giro d'Italia victories, Binda also won the World Road Cycling Championships twice, in 1927 and 1930. His career spanned the 1920s and early 1930s, and he is often regarded as one of the greatest cyclists of his era. Binda's influence on cycling continues to be recognized today.
