Agnès of France
Agnès of France (c. 1150–after 1181) was a French princess, the daughter of King Louis VII of France and Eleanor of Aquitaine. She was married to Henry the Young King, the son of Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine, in 1172. This marriage was part of a political alliance between France and England.
Agnès's life was marked by the complexities of royal politics. After her husband's death in 1183, she returned to France. Her marriage and subsequent widowhood reflected the intricate relationships between the French and English crowns during the medieval period.
