Adam Walsh
Adam Walsh was a young boy who became widely known after his tragic abduction and murder in 1981. He was just six years old when he disappeared from a shopping mall in Hollywood, Florida. His case drew national attention and highlighted the issue of child safety and abduction.
In response to Adam's death, his parents, John and Reve Walsh, became advocates for missing children. They helped establish the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in 1984, which works to prevent child abductions and provide resources for families. Adam's story has had a lasting impact on child protection laws and awareness.
