Abdullah II of Jordan
Abdullah II of Jordan is the current king of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, having ascended to the throne on February 7, 1999. He was born on January 30, 1962, and is the son of King Hussein of Jordan. Abdullah II is known for his efforts to modernize Jordan and promote economic development, as well as for his role in regional diplomacy.
King Abdullah II has a background in military service and education, having studied at Harvard University and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He is married to Queen Rania of Jordan, and they have four children. Abdullah II is also involved in various initiatives to enhance education and healthcare in Jordan.
