Abdulaziz Al-Hakim
Abdulaziz Al-Hakim was an influential Iraqi politician and a prominent leader of the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council (SIIC). Born in 1950, he played a significant role in Iraqi politics after the fall of Saddam Hussein in 2003. Al-Hakim was known for advocating for the rights of the Shiite community in Iraq and worked towards establishing a democratic government.
He spent many years in exile, primarily in Iran, where he developed strong ties with various political and religious groups. Al-Hakim returned to Iraq after the U.S.-led invasion and became a key figure in shaping the country's post-war political landscape until his death in 2009.
