Abdul Qadir Jilani
Abdul Qadir Jilani was a prominent Islamic scholar and Sufi mystic born in 1077 in what is now Iraq. He is best known for founding the Qadiriyya order, one of the oldest Sufi brotherhoods. Jilani emphasized the importance of spiritual purification and devotion to Allah, guiding his followers through teachings that combined Islamic law with mystical practices.
He spent much of his life in Baghdad, where he gained a large following due to his eloquent sermons and deep understanding of Islamic theology. Jilani's legacy continues to influence Sufism and Islamic spirituality, with many followers celebrating his teachings and writings to this day.
