2016 Brussels bombings
On March 22, 2016, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in Brussels, the capital of Belgium. Two suicide bombings took place at the Brussels Airport in Zaventem, while another explosion happened at the Maelbeek metro station. The attacks resulted in the deaths of 32 civilians and injured over 300 others.
