1962 Sino-Indian War
The 1962 Sino-Indian War was a border conflict between India and China that occurred from October to November 1962. The war was primarily triggered by territorial disputes in the Aksai Chin region and the Northeast Frontier Agency (now Arunachal Pradesh).
The conflict resulted in a decisive victory for China, which gained control over the disputed areas. The war highlighted the tensions between the two nations and led to a reevaluation of India's defense policies. The aftermath of the war has continued to influence Sino-Indian relations to this day.
