누에고치
누에고치, or silkworm cocoon, is the protective casing spun by the larvae of the Bombyx mori moth. These cocoons are primarily made of silk, a natural fiber produced by the silkworm during its pupal stage. The silk is harvested for various uses, most notably in the production of silk fabric.
The process of creating a 누에고치 begins when the silkworms feed on mulberry leaves. After about 25 to 30 days, they spin their cocoons, which can take several days to complete. Once the cocoons are formed, they are collected and processed to extract the silk threads, which are then woven into beautiful textiles.
